Nobody has ever really been successful throwing leg kicks against him because his style would involve a counter cross with the opposite hand (which will do far more damage than the leg kick). James Irvin didn't set it up well, but the price he paid was hefty.
There are no "Aldo" type fighters at MW with that level of leg kicks. And the full-time kickboxers out there don't have the MMA skills to even get to a fight with Anderson.
I have no idea why so many idiots always bring up fights like Serra/GSP, Guida/Pettis, and Chonan/Anderson, as if any of those have any relevance to the great champs that learned and improved and rose to greatness. Those fights have nothing to do with anything and some of you guys probably couldn't wipe your ass back then, but we don't bring that up as your "weakness" now, do we?
