Not even a little bit. I get annoyed as hell about what many feel is a disgusting and caustic terrorist organization (BLM) not being called what it is. Instead they're being applauded by liberals. The same liberals that would be crying for the police if they were on the receiving end of a violent crime from one of these "activists".

Is being annoying terrorism now? Irritating as they may be I dont think the organization has wacked any body yet. One lone nut does not make a terrorist group. They dont even have central leadership or clearly defined goals or anything.

A black dude shot some cops and its sad tragic and a huge waste but I dont think any of the protesters on the ground had a whole lot to do with it or were even aware it was about to happen .

Using your logic that one dude makes a group terrorists would not all Christians, Muslims ,militias and sovereign citizens terrorists as well ?

You're entitled to your opinion on BLM, but to try to start(help) a campaign against others for not sharing your opinion? Yep, soft.

Bullshit. They're terrorists. It's a hate group devoted to acts of violent or economic terrorism-- to disrupting the peace and deepening civil unrest-- that needs to be added to the registry of hate groups maintained by bodies like the Southern Poverty Law Center.

Pamela Geller's American Freedom Defense Initiative is on there, and she still hasn't killed anybody.

Prove that their leadership are planning murders, bombings, etc and people would have a point.

I don't know if I would call them a terrorist group but by the Southern poverty law group standards they would certainly be called a hate organization.

What is interesting is the same people here complaining about people wanting to boycott a company over something they said are all for someone being fired for something they say
They are the very ones that state freedom of speech can have consequences which they support as long as it's not something they support.

This company has every right to right a statement in support of of blm and also has the right to suffer the consequences of that statement. Don't call someone whining when you do the same thing.
 
we speak of terrorism as though it were a solid green painting. . . defining what 'terrorism' actually is becomes a rather uninvolved task nowadays -- the hard part is determining whether the intentions, and goals, are congruent with the actions that come afterward. in their time, those loyal to the crown saw supporters of jacobins, who were advocating something special to us today, as terrorist of the state. people were maimed, bitten and crushed. it lead to shit, but out of the shit came good [for the most part].

BLM is more of a movement than a so-called solid group. what started as an intellectual movement is now an activist movement. i think it's more the former, though, even today, making it not so clear (to me, at least) where one begins and the other ends [obv.].

hate will mirror hate. it's been told before. we're all living in the past, with no real choice in the matter, and so we have to confront what's before us. the critique/action may be bad, but it comes out of a place of real struggle.

Are they though? I always see people making a lot of assumptions in this subforum. Every time I post in here I have someone saying I'm a hypocrite.

When I ask them to elaborate, they point out beliefs I don't have or things I never said.


A lot of people around here gauge whether they think you're left or right leaning, and then arbitrarily place you in a group and start telling you what you believe.

Maybe I wouldn't call them terrorists at this point, but they are definitely radical.

They preach and exercise violence.
