Why would the UFC post the 319 card with a TBD co-main event?

Jessica and Loopy get bumped up, and some homeless bum fights Venom Page in the prelims <{danawhoah}> Peak Dana

It is going to be Angela Hill vs Jessica Penne

When has he been a pullout risk other than when he had covid. Do you think he's going to get covid again?
Off the top of my head. they had to flip an entire card around because he couldn’t make weight against Nate and last June he pulled out against Whitaker

All you fucking TUF noobs don't even remember TBA. TBA is the real goat.
Some of us are still waiting for ufc 233 to be announced. Longest postponed event in the history of events

Take off the rose tinted glasses man.

TBA is a can crusher.

We can hit him up when we need someone to beat the shit out of an undersized Japanese pro wrestler without having to take a PED test.

I agree they could!

They could just make MVP Vs cannonier the comain event and pull a prelim fight up to the main card.

So why promise another fight? If we get another high level comain worthy fight, that's great. But why create that expectation As a promotion ?
"TBD vs TBD" as the co-main isn't really promising anything. The only way they fail to fulfill that promise is if they literally don't add any more fights to the card and have a half-hour moment of silence before the main event.

If they're pretty confident that the co-main will be a fight that's not already been announced, it just creates more confusion/unmet expectations to announce a fight as the co-main that they know is not going to be the co-main.

We're all just speculating since we don't know yet what's keeping the fight from being finalized and announced. My guess is it will be Movsar vs Pico.

Fight has been announced, it's Lerone Murphy vs. Aaron Pico.

Sounds like the UFC was waiting on Evloev's injury status and got confirmation that he wouldn't be ready in time for 319.
