Why only in MMA do the champs or fighters in the lower weight divisionst get called manlets?

Rest assured. You 're a sherbro...
Thank you

The problem that I have is not so much with Rogan himself but some of the fanbase cant see the differnce between quality and the memes. Seems like a common problem that doesnt only affect Joe and his fans though. It becomes dangerous when everything and I mean everything becomes gospel. If I could trust the listener to have the ability of critical thinking I wouldnt mind him at all. But unfortunately that trust is dead and buried so I need to remind people that all his stuff isnt as serious as they see it.

Part of it is probably that the lower weight classes werent a thing in MMA until relatively recently. The UFC went from not having divisions below 155 at all to like half of all cards being made up of sub 155'ers and chicks in the space of a few years.

But in boxing all time greats and good fighters like Roberto Duran, SRL, Pacquiao , Mayweather, Cotto , Monster, Pernell Whitaker, JMM, Barrera, el terrible etc..are revered and spoken upon with the reverence they deserve? I don't know browsing through that latest Henry thread got me thinking. Is it that MMA is relatively new compared to boxing or are MMA fans just douchier? Don't get me wrong I love both sports equally but there's something about some of these MMA fans that I guess don't appreciate the skill and discipline it takes to get to the highest level of the sport. Not to mention all the attention on here for Connor out carousing again tmz like threads.I'm sorry I rarely post and this was just a random rant.
manlet detected

it's because in boxing, people recognize that it's an art form where smaller guys can shine.

in mma, you are talking about who is the best fighter. and someone bigger will feel insecure, or in disbelief,
that a small guy can be called a good fighter.

"i can knock this midget out, i don't feel threatened at all, no danger.
why do they call themselves the best fighter in the world?"

I don't know where you are living but even at their "walk around weight" they are not bigger than the average dude lol.
assuming they walk at 180lbs, they're heavier than the average male in most countries. Plus they're low bf%, so they look bigger. The average bloke at 180lbs is a bit tubby (source: worked at swimming pools, saw hundreds of adults topless).

Two quick facts for you...
#1 manlets is a degretory word for small people that originated from sherdogg

#2 sherdogg doesn't represent all of the mma community. If you go to a bar and use the word manlet your probably going to get alot of blank stares.

MMA fans are rude, selfish, and degenerate

Thats why once they lose they were never any good

Manlet for anybody less than 6’1”

Pointy elbows on a brawd is a no-no

Hairline’s with career-ending implications

Duck season, ducks fucking everywhere

If you ain’t top-10 you’s a jobber

Because Sherbros are at least 6'5 to even get an account, therefore anyone under that qualifies as small and once you get under 5'10 most of us have kids bigger than that.

Because when we were young mma was about huge, roided dudes who looked like murderers and you knew they could kill you without breaking a sweat. Now you have these kid sized guys and girls who would most likely defeat you on points. So we call them names while hiding behind screens and pretending we are much bigger and stronger.

One thing that has gone unmentioned... its because Dana agrees with them.

Flyweights scarcely ever get a push by the UFC. You have title-contenders and top-level prospects fighting on the prelims. Meanwhile, Heavyweights are way over-represented when it comes to main/co-main event positions. The bigger you are, the more likely the UFC is to shine a light on you.

Fighters call other fighters in their same class midgets...then, what are they doing fighting midgets? MMA Fanbase and fighters are not on the brighter side for the most part.

I guess it comes from the times of MMA starting at heavyweight/open weight, they feel like they could beat FLW´s only cause they are "125lbs".

Because when a guy is 125 or for boxing 112 like choclatiito. I assure you there are guys who post on here who would piece up guys that size in a real fight. That's why because at a certain point size does matter. There is zero nfl players who would be hw champ but there are many nfl players who would beat the shit out of pantoja
I think that people vastly underestimate how many people a 125 pound fighter could fuck up

First, they're not that weight. They walk around at about 140-145, not big but still larger than you think

I've trained with "manlet" pros. They will fuck up just about any untrained man, regardless of size. And let's be honest, most osherdoggers don't look like NFL players

Of course they can i have too but the point I'm making is in a street fight pantoja would lose to some guys you know. Its the way it is. Aspinall would not.
