A buddy of mine was a huge Jason fan and I was a huge Tommy fan, right? So when Tommy became the White Ranger I called him on the phone and I'm like "dude, Tommy is not only the new White Ranger, but he's the leader now too!". So he is incredulous as fuck and doesn't believe me. So because my mom always recorded all the cartoons and TV shows I watched growing up, I hit rewind, put the phone up to the TV speakers and played back Zordon telling the other Rangers that Tommy was running things now. All I got back from him was silence.

Fuck, what a time to be alive.

And yet Jason is the one who gets the cooler combined weapon and suit moments.

tbh, i dont know how many power rangers are, their colours, meaning nor traits, and i dont know no Tommy either. Even when i was a kid i didnt liked nor watched the show.
However, i do believe in being open minded, so i have to be open to the possibility of the Hollywood inside knowledge, and the subliminal messages inserted in kids shows. And maybe thats what youre onto...

As a kid, I heard that Tommy (Green Ranger) was gay and kicked off of the show for it, then brought back to avoid a lawsuit. That could easily have been bullshit - but they definitely "pimped out" his character when he came back from being witten off (despite his character being the coolest one to begin with).

I don't expect to find any credence being given to the gay rumor, but am gonna look it up for the hell of it.

Pink = Girl
Black = Black
Yellow = Asian

and when Tommy became the Red Ranger we learned about him being a Native American, Redskin.

Tommy also became the Black Ranger and showed that once you go Black you can go back.
