Why is the Red Ranger replaced by the White Ranger as the Leader of Power Rangers?

Are adults interested at all in the upcoming movie? Nostalgia or not, it was an extremely dumb show with zero entertainment value for adults. I'm not sure what people are expecting.

Yup, but people somehow think a kids movie is going to be good because they liked the material when they were younger. It's more of a prediction to all the disappointment that's going to come when the movie is released. 90s kids are very predictable.

I actually expect the movie to be better than the show (though still a bad movie). Way bigger budget, and presumably better script writers and actors involved. The show was trash though, not hard to do better.

Dude was good, but limited. He never really regained the super powers he had while evil. Never again shot the energy shit from his badass sword again.. Dude managed to take down the megazord with just energy blasts from his sword when evil..

When he went good he lost a lot of power and could never really regenerate it.. I never really understood why the red ranger was replaced as leader..
