you have already figured out their ,,selective understanding" so no need to spend your time to explain it in more easier and understandable ways when in fact they don't want to understand it.

Islame is healing, resting and filling up the batteries since 12 of February, which are 151 days, or 21 weeks and will have more then enough time to prepare mentally by preparing game plans for all possible challengers and then later physically for the big fight, meanwhile nobody of the possible challengers (I put now all of them in the bucket, also Charles who already said ,,enough with this stupid games") knows today if they will fight there! Two of them had just recently fought and two will fight in only 2,5 weeks with the fight being only 3 months away.

I don't know what the UFC was thinking but it was not smart to do that. If they would have announced Charles as the challenger in mid of June I'm sure he would have taken the fight but he just has enough, waiting for the call while Islame has all the time to prepare.

Gaethje and Poirier will both be on medical suspension I imagine, Dariush got beat up badly too recently, Chandler is in limbo. He doesn't have any trouble at all getting fights and he hasn't his entire career. He has pulled out of every ranked fight pre his 3 fight run culminating in his title shot. He will have even less trouble getting them now if he wants them. Between the UFC and Islam's team trying to make Abu dhabi a fight location, I don't think we see him fight this year unless Volk is healthy and he is the main driver for pushing for that fight again.

Oliviera isn't the champ anymore. Islam is. He has only had 1 fight so far this year.
When CHarles was champ he fought his entire top 5. Islam has fought the 145 champ and nobody else in the top 5. He has a win over Hooker#10 , Charles#1 and Arman #8 only within his division.

Islam isn't signed to fight anyone, they picked him a date and then pre matched the entire top 5 so they wouldn't be available to fight him at that date.
