Why is Khabib never criticized?

Either they are really ignorant of the facts and back story, or they are just dishonest and support Khabib with the blind loyalty of a cult leader.

Not sure what board you are reading but Khabib gets plenty of criticism around here. I'd say it's around 50-50 positive to negative. The longer he stays retired the more he will be criticized. Standard Sherdog procedure. He never beat anyone who was that good. Fought a bunch of bums. Never went up and challenged at WW, ducked Usman, so on and so forth. 1) They were Khabib's crazy fans, not his buddies.
2) "shot him point blank, stabbed him" - Rasul wasn't stabbed or shot.
3) Rasul himself said that there is no conflict between him and Khabib.

Khabib's father publicly condemned the attack on Rasul Mirzaev. But some people supported this attack on Rasul, not because they are "psychotic Khabib fans", It's because Rasul Mirzaev accidentally killed student Ivan Agafonov in 2011, so some people viewed this attack as a form of "justice".
