Khabib is not the noble monk warrior most Western fans believe him to be; his image in the West is somewhat sanitized because we mostly see the "official" face of him. The same applies in other cases, as well, e.g. Conor is more hated in Ireland than in, say, Japan.

In real life, Khabib is somewhat of a dumb thug. He has a bunch of infamous rants, outbursts and other douchebaggery around him. The way he went after Lobov with a whole crew of his buddies is very Jake Paul-like.

His father had similar remarks far before Jones had been popped for PEDs. His father (who by all accounts was an excellent trainer and mentor and was surely aware that most/all pro athletes are enhanced) was obviously a huge influence on Khabib so I am sure this is part of why he still holds him in such high regard, merited or not.
 
Yeah i was surprised too, crazy if you think about it, just goes to show, even hard arsed religious beliefs are superseded by fanboyism.

Khabib is a massive hypocrite. And he likes to pretend he's some kind of intellectual or beacon of truth.
 
Jones is the GOAT and has been for a while.

Tomboys just have to cry and bitch about something. They have to take their frustration out somehow. Jones rides off into the Sunset with the Belt and left Tom and his fans in their panties in a bunch, tryin to discredit Jones every chance they get.
 
It’s not really surprising, as others have pointed out his father had similar things to say. They’re able to look past all his shortcomings as a human and acknowledge that he is one of, if not the best MMA fighter ever.
