It's not just you, I'm speaking on a larger issue. Your whole post you spend 2 paragraphs talking about how you judge people as individuals then you make a stereotypical remark about asians. Why? because you know you can.
Nice of you to throw the victim label on me just for speaking out on a social issue that is rarely addressed, labels like that stop productive discussion. Why don't you throw the victim label on all the white posters here for their 2 million posts a day about white victimization. Why the double standard?
Btw, I am personally not that offended by the asians can't drive stereotype, but I don't like it. It reminds me that people have no filter when it comes to asians. Like in my last workplace people would just come up to me and make stupid offensive racial jokes for absolutely no reason.
Show me some statistics that asians can't drive if you believe it to be so true that an entire race is unable to drive a car due to some innate disability? Why are remarks against asians "just a joke" to you. How would you like it if I said "all white people are racist" but you know it's just a joke.
And why are you generalizing the sentiment of Asians against racism. Most Asians I talk to are in fact very vocal about the double standard, most I talk to experienced bullying and discrimination growing up and many are upset at the double standard, or in the case of asians triple standard:
1)minority
2)politically correct to be racist against
3)can't speak out against it
How do you know that Asians aren't affected by it? we are just like anyone else. Some brush it off, some don't, some actively question it and fight it. I probably know a lot more asians than you and I can tell you that we discuss this issue all the time with friends and family. Not every asian is a successfull hard working math nerd, many are living in poverty or struggling to pay their bills, family problems, depression, drug problems. It's a diverse group, don't generalize or marginalize.
