Why is Gilbert Burns so highly regarded in here?

You named 3 good wins. His title fight was good, too, rocking Usman like that. He also beat Gunnar and popped Alexey Kunchenko's cherry, derailing his 20-0 streak.

Even his losses at LW aren't bad. Prazeres being 20-2 when they fought, Magomedov 18-1. Hooker caught him early, in round 1. I don't think Dan would've won that had it lasted longer. Though he was too drained for LW by that point.

Add on top his zhoo zhits accolades, I think it's OK to expect him to beat Zat who's not really a proven commodity yet.

Luque never fought RDA. And Leon Edwards beat Luque.
I stand corrected. You are right.

I Checked the records. Edwards fought Luque so long ago (5 years) that I forgot they fought

I'm hopeful.

Here's something to keep you going until he fights again. Don't ever say I never did you any favors.

You're welcome.

After seeing this,I can't lose. Thx

he has a good style against usman and colby but doesnt match up well against other fighter in the division he beats colby but loses to a lot of other fighter like leon and luque

You can make the same argument about the top 5 at welterweight after their opponents get old.

covington - who has he beat?
Old Maia
Deflated Woodley
Out of prime Lawler
Shop worn RDA

Luque - who has he beat?
michael “who really cares” Chelsea
Deflated Woodley
Shop worn RDA

Leon Edwards
Over the hill Diaz
Shop worn RDA
Should retired a long time ago Cowboy

All of the above are beast in their own right, but they came up as their competition went down and none of them fought each other so all of their resumes look about equal
But Usman beat most of them

WW division has been really shallow for years. It was a bunch of 40 year olds, failed Lightweights and 40 year old failed lightweights. Masvidal? Chiesa? RDA? Burns? Cerrone? And then the old men who were fed upon once falling from Grace like Woodley, Maia, Thompson, Lawler. The fact that Belal who is as mediocre a talent as they come, Should never even be a top 15 level kinda guy is pushing towards a title shot says a lot.

Usman is amazing, Colby is solid and a complete workhorse and Leon is a well rounded reasonable contender but man...This division is shallow and most guys resumes suck by default. Khamzat, Shavkat and Amosov are such breaths of fresh air....Shavkat and Khamzat will tear through the division enroute to a title shot, their only challenges are Colby and Usman, mark my words.

He's good, but he's too small for khamzat. Khamzat's team knows this.
