Opinion Why is "anti DEI" and "anti-woke" a POTUS top priority?

Dude, Trump was under investigation for discriminating against African Americans and refusing to rent apartments to them back in the 1970s. He’s racist AF and has always been.
So you think investigation automatically means guilty now? I'm glad I live in America where this is not the case.

It was a lawsuit. Oh I think he’s a racist because I’ve heard him say numerous things that are racist. I’m just pointing out that there’s evidence of his racism that goes back a loooong way, long before he was POTUS, or a candidate, and before the evil “mainstream media” got involved.
He’s got a pattern of racism that goes back half a century. So sure, you can say that accusing Trump of racism is “old,” because he is old and so is his racism. It’s certainly not “played out,” it’s perfectly accurate.

He also did jack to bring black unemployment down, but did get to take credit for the work we did. He’s good at doing that much at least.

So your best evidence is a housing dispute from 50 years ago? If he was racist AF then you'd have a lot more clear cut examples. As of now, there is much more evidence against Trump being racist than there ever was for it.

I'm assuming it's because they want employees selected on merit and not their demographic.
This. And if you don't understand why this should be a top cultural priority, if you don't get it, then I don't care if it makes you unhappy why Trump does.

The Trump administration is disqualifying entire populations of qualified Americans. Why though?

We are seeing the dismissal of staff in all sectors based on race, gender and ideology. From Walmart employees to 4 star generals to FBI and CIA staff.

So how on earth do these dismissals benefit all Americans?
Can someone explain how this pays off for everyone and not just an extremely small select group of people?

You have to keep the bigotry of your base satiated so they will willingly exploit themselves to your benefit.

"If you can convince the lowest white man he's better than the best colored man, he won't notice you're picking his pocket. Hell, give him somebody to look down on, and he'll empty his pockets for you." - LBJ

I love how you guys try and move the goalposts.

I didn’t say anything about “best evidence.” I merely pointed out how far back his pattern of racism goes.
And lol @ “housing dispute.” That’s a cute way of saying he gave explicit instruction to lie to African Americans and say there weren’t apartments available when there were.

We have tons of examples of his racism, we point them out all the time, and you just say “la la la I can’t hear you.” So just go back to doing that, because that’s all you’re ever going to do.

Its hilarious the nerve of some of these dorks to even suggest that "merit" has anything to do with anti-DEI or anti-"wokeness" (a term they cant define) as they simultaneously applaud comically underskilled and under-experienced people, or the right KIND of immigrant, to take over the Government.

No one should ever seriously entertain that debate as it's become comically disingenuous. They would do much better for themselves just admitting that they want people who think like them to have a legal framework to discriminate against people they dont like.

My Guess- He's doing it because there is absolutely no fucking downside. He will get higher approval ratings for anti DEI actions than anything else he does.......and it will distract from the rest of his epileptic fits and galactic stupidity.

Let me explain- There are LOADS of liberals like myself who think it's completely absurd and wrong to have TG women competing with biological women in sports. So you take us........... and combine them with the nearly 100% of Republicans that feel that way, and you have.........you guessed it........a MAJORITY. The bigger he can make the DEI issue, the better off he will be.

you know how dog toys have the little plastic thing in the middle and it makes that squeaky noise when they bite into it? that's what DEI and whatever new thing they're pretending to be mad about today. it's just a toy to distract them from their shitty choices. they can't get enough of the squeaking

It's a hot button topic and moat of America is tired of the bullshit. Most qualified should get jobs - external factors such as race, religion, sexual preference, or identifying as whatever should have zero weight.

They could never be that honest. Deflect, deny, troll, meme, rinse repeat.

So crazy, right

Former KKK Leader David Duke Says 'Of Course' Trump Voters Are His Voters

You are aware that the reason DEI initiatives, anti-discrimination laws, and Constitutional protections exist because that wasn't happening, right? Hell even ADA accommodations werent happening, and right this second the branch of the Administration that deals with disability access claims in Federal agencies, has been essentially dismantled. Probably why Trump said something as stupid as that dwarves shouldnt be Air Traffic Controllers. Just putting it out there to his people that the message of the Administration is that people who are different dont deserve jobs.

You voted the same way these guys did

Um the issue of the thread is DEI and the specfically the construct of RACE and how its used to galvanize specific voters

this Pohlhaus guy you shared (whoever that is) confusingly said his primary voting issue was "ukraine" nothing to do with the construct of race.

zero relevancy

Richard Spencer campaigned for Biden. DNC = KKK confirmed.

Except no, he didnt:

"Joe Biden’s presidential campaign forcefully denounced the Democratic nominee’s endorsement by a white nationalist, Richard Spencer.

“When Joe Biden says we are in a battle for the soul of our nation against vile forces of hate who have come crawling out from under rocks, you are the epitome of what he means,” campaign spokesman Andrew Bates said Sunday on Twitter, responding to a tweet by Spencer. “What you stand for is absolutely repugnant. Your support is 10,000% percent unwelcome here.”

Now go back to Trump and his outright refusal to reject Duke, claiming he had no clue who Duke was despite that HE brought up Duke as a stain on Republican politics when he was a Democrat himself. Not to mention his other outright refusals to acknowledge or denounce all the white supremacists who endorse him.

And lol@Spencer saying "its not accelerationism, I SWEAR!! I just love me some libruls!!"
