Why I Left Fox News

Are you and Palis really moderators here?
I was told sherdog was in desperate need of a fair, balanced, level headed, down to earth moderator and I was voted the best candidate in the booth.

Perhaps almost as entertaining as seeing a "bothsidesism" poster reveal his errant assumption that the original poster is criticizing the other "side" rather than his own; thereby revealing an obliviousness to their condition while ironically presuming ignorance on their behalf. An additional erroneous assumption is that the "other" side is presented to be innocent rather than asymmetrical in the context of a specific allegation.

So many words to say absolutely nothing of relevance or substance lol

Ah. So you didn't understand them. Cliffs: Fox News is my "side". The same is true of Ralph Peters, George Will, Megyn Kelly, and Michelle Fields.

Put simply, you ranted about blind assumptions in a rant that was itself a blind assumption. If your little speech was a birthday party, you'd have a dozen blindfolded kids trying to pin a needle in you.

Perhaps you can produce a whistleblowing testimonial from an ex-MSNBC or ex-CNN reporter that demonstrates the same bias and narrative-engineering?

Or do you expect others to accept your opinion offered with no substance or evidence of any kind?

Didn't CNN get caught schilling for Hillary through Donna Brazil?

And I definitely remember MSNBC editing footage to push a narrative of racism against conservative gun owners.

So yeah, they're pretty much the same. Two of them just have less people on staff drinking the koolaid

You can't even spell shilling.

MSNBC is garbage. Foxnews is garbage. They are both slanted.

Talk-show hosts are supposed to have a point of view. A slant there doesn't make it garbage. The guy quoted in the OP has a point of view, but it's a point of view about national security and intelligence that incidentally put him on the right. Someone who thinks both that we should have UHC and that UHC is the most important issue will end up on the left. But what Fox as an institution is doing is subordinating their slants on issues to their slant on party.

You can't even spell shilling.

Also, they have talking heads to defend both candidates. They were similarly "caught" shilling for Trump through Jeffrey Lord, to reproduce the odd phrasing. It's a dumb way to run a show if your goal is to inform, but it works as entertainment.

Spelling nazi - might explain your screen name.

Doesn't negate the fact that they did it.
If you need to read tea leaves to figure out the meaning of my screen name here on this karate forum, you might need more school.

Limp dick apologism.

And yet no one here can apparently substantiate this claim.

It's been alleged. Now show us differently. Point me to the testimonial.

Ralph Peters follows George Will himself. Megyn Kelly, limelight hooker that she is, left for the same reason. Michelle Fields preceded them both, and she was vindicated in front of the whole country.

Finally, Charles Krauthammer mysteriously disappeared as soon as he stopped parroting the "Russian witch hunt" line following the exposure of the Trump Tower meeting. Unofficially, they say that it was because of a "pre-planned surgery", the nature of which remains a complete mystery, and that he's still recovering from complications, but my oh my the timing is suspicious. He is the lone voice here who hasn't openly criticized Fox management for specifically engineering a narrative and suppressing anti-Trump dissent.

Maybe you could suggest a scrap of evidence substantiating your assertion, here.

One is right wing bias and the other is left wing bias. It's pretty obvious. What kind of evidence do you want? CNN (like Fox) will report things dishonestly in order to support their narrative.

I picture your AV as a view that you're accustomed to seeing.

Care to address giving Donna Brazil questions to a debate or editing footage of a black gun owner and saying it's racial animus toward Obama?

False equivocation. This has obviously already been pointed out to you.

Well we're going to have to agree to disagree then. I just don't understand how you can't see that CNN is left wing bias. It really boggles my mind.

She was not instructed to do that by CNN, and they fired her once the story came out. She tattled on herself.

Funny how you asked that like it was a question. You were aware of the story, so we can deduce with a high level of confidence that you possess a memory far below average.

She resigned in Oct, but I believe the 1st wikileaks dump came in early June.

So for 3+ months CNN didn't have a big enough problem with what she did to ask her to resign.

So it's finally decided... There is no god.

He didn't say that they didn't. Reread what he has said in this thread.

What am I missing here? Didn't he just say that? Congrats on the Mod btw. I have to say I'm a little surprised as you seem to be dubbed a lot, but congrats none the less.

Like the BET channel, there will always be a place for Fox News. Say what you want about them, they give what their audience what they want. My dad only watches Fox News because in his mind, "Its the only channel that tells the truth". As long as Fox News stays with its conservative tilt, it will attract audiences.

"Fox never tried to put words in my mouth, nor was I told explicitly that I was taboo on Trump-Putin matters. I simply was no longer called on for topics central to my expertise."

FOX is a hundred times more reliable than It's MSM peers, including NBC and MSNBC.
