Why doesn't TWood call out GSP?

Because Gsp won't agree, Dana wouldn't like it, and most of the weirdo Colin fans would complain about it incessantly.

Anderson beat tf out of bisbing rounds 3-5 it ain’t even look fair in the 5th round. That’s probably my most watched ufc fight

Anderson almost got KO’d twice

- Woodley knows that GSP doesn't want the fight
- Woodley seems to get flak from fans whenever he tries to call people out
- Woodley doesn't need to beat GSP in order to cement his road to being the WW GOAT. GSP beat the best from the old grind. Woodley's concentrating on beating the new breed.

for GSP, it's too much risk and not enough reward. Woodley is NOT a mainstream name

GSP has stated he only wants the big big fights Conor etc

Everyone has it coming.

GSP v Bisping was made for both fighters.
Both knew that they had a chance of winning without getting starched by a younger, quicker guy (like Gastelum two weeks later) and both knew there was a MASSIVE payday in it.

That was a classic "Compamy Man" fight.

Tyron wants to play the company man now after Bisping and DC showed the fruits of laying down to Dana. He's 36 now so it would be wise for him to do so. Plus Dana is a Trump man so he knows Colby is coming down the pipe.

Dana and Colby want to put that belt on Donny's desk. That would be a heck of a marketing opportunity for the company.

If Bisping sucks so bad then what does that make Silva? Rockhold?

Because Silva fought like a complete clown. He fought one minute per round and still almost beat Bisping. Would have KO'd him if the ref did his job properly. And Rockhold came out like an arrogant prick that didn't want to be there because he already owned Bisping before and threw his title in the garbage.

Bisping's title run was due to the lack of respect other fighters have for his abilities. And it began by ducking Whittaker.

false. He did get dropped but recovered quick and did not take much damage in the process. However bisbing really did get kod and was sleep and got his ass beat the next two rounds.

Tonight would have generated a ton of interest if Tyron pulled his own "Where you at George" type call out. Instead he pushes a cheesy momma said knock you out song that the racist Texan crowd boos and says he will fight whoever completely killing interest in his next fight. Why doesn't Tyron at least try for a giant ppv mega fight with the division goat that would make him a rich man?

The current champ out a guy who's had one fight in five years, and not even at WW? In any sport but MMA that would be considered goofy ... and it should be considered goofy in MMA as well.

Woodley should be saying that GSP has to earn a title shot by working his way up the WW ranks - my bet is that GSP can no longer do it. He was out of shape (did he ever get tired in the first round before) and extremely slow against Bisping, and would have lost if Bisping didn't believe that GSP had no power (as if any strong guy can't hit hard if you stand in front of him without head movement).

GSP was the WW GOAT. But that GSP has been replaced by a guy who spent most of the last five years sitting on his butt, enjoying (admittedly well deserved) the good life. The champ calling out someone like that is simply silly.

GSP wants legacy fights and probably money. His legacy at WW is cemented. He doesn't need to prove anything in that division, he's done it, everyone at WW is chasing him, not the other way around. He went up to 185 to prove he could do it and it just happened that Bisping was champ at that time. I agree, he was a soft champ, but he earned it with a KO over Rockhold. If he hadn't have had medical issues I'm sure he would have defended against Whittaker. GSP always fought the top guys when he was champ so there's no reason to believe he he wouldn't have this time. That being said, if he can't gain weight, then drop weight, and fight the money fights that are there in Khabib and Conor. Of any fighter he deserves to pick a few fights at the end of his career. Before Conor was PPV king you forget GSP was the King.

He did. For the better part of a year. He's done calling out people.

Woodley has tried getting GSP to fight him for years now. GSP ain't taking the fight at this point. No point in calling him out. The other thing is if he called GSP out, a bunch of GSP fans will be whining about Woodley calling a guy out who isn't at 170 anymore and he should be calling out the next contender. Woodley can't win either way. He did the smart thing.

Didn't he already try and call him out when GSP was going to make his return?

And that part is actually true. Calling out someone who isn't in your weight division, especially someone who has one fight in five years, is ducking the current top guys in your division.

The reason Woodley wants to fight GSP is because fighting a guy who is a big PPV draw who has spent most of the last five years retired is easy money. I don't blame him, anymore than I blame GSP for cherry picking high paying fights. But it wouldn't happen in any real sport - in real sports you talk about the best opponents this year, not about the guy or team who was best five years ago.

Where you been man? Woodley as been calling out George since he came back for his guest appearance fight. George don't want none and the UFC don't want to bribe him with money...
