Dunno if specifically for NFL players but I know they plan their movements based on these sports events or conventions/conferences/trade shows.

My friend used to train at Marcelo’s academy. The one in pearl city that was under Flamengo’s. I asked him if was as big a dick in class as he was during fights. Marcelo was a DQ machine. The superbrawl events live were gold. I went to a handful and they were always packed and high energy. That’s what’s so frustrating that the UFC hasn’t done a show there, the fans deserve it.

I remember awhile back there was a report that the Hawaiian tourism board, or whatever wanted a few million dollars ($6M rings a bell, but I could be off) to allow the UFC to stage a card. And the UFC wasn’t/isn’t prepared to pay that much.

Fuck that. max should just go to San Diego. Hawaii doesn't deserve a great champ.

There was even a local PBS (or other local access TV?) TV show with Onzuka & Kurano that sometimes showed full Icon bouts. I think they showed Mayhem sub the giant HW via arm triangle. Kurano actually fought once in EliteXC.

At least a location for recurring Fight Night events. The state should just invest in purchase and storage of an official regulation UFC cage as well as lighting setups. That would decrease some event logistics costs.
