A lot of people there. (Honolulu) has nice convention center. At least for a fight night. If ufc can do south Korea or some small town they can definitely do Hawaii. #ufchawaii

Fukk that, Not happening until after Fight night Stockton

They had that rumble on the rock thing. Pretty sparse local talent. Mostly fatties with tattoos

If they held an octagonal platform suspended over churning magma, weeeelllll ppv of the century right there. Yeah Id buy that.

Because they have a bunch of crazy laws example of the athletic commission gets a cut of the Pay-Per-View it's a bunch of a socialist bs. It actually used to have a very strong MMA community and professional wrestling but it died out. You should probably do some research on the topic.

I remember awhile back there was a report that the Hawaiian tourism board, or whatever wanted a few million dollars ($6M rings a bell, but I could be off) to allow the UFC to stage a card. And the UFC wasn’t/isn’t prepared to pay that much.

Such corruption

There's only one notable fighter from Hawaii on the roster. True, he's the champion but is it worth going to Hawaii because of one fighter.

The culture of Hawaii is one of hanging loose, kicking back. Not a whole lot of pressure to succeed. It’s not like a typical Asian country’. If you’ve been there you know what I’m talking about. Nobody wants to do anything. It’s ideal for vacation, not work.

UFC doesn't want to meet the crazy requirements of the state
Mainly $$$
