Why does UFC promote RDR as ONE FC double champ? He got cut after 2 losses

He got cut after 2 brutal losses to Malykhin, he didn't sign as a champ. He is ONE FC reject.

With a username like yours, you should be the last shitting on former champions for a major org entering the UFC.

Yes, that I would agree with that. He lost to someone who is more of a 205er.

The way people phrase it make it seem like Anatoly is about to fight Christian Lee and capture the 170/ title next. Like HW's can just infinitely go down in weight and still be HWs.
Also Anatoly just lost his heavyweight title to somebody who isn't very good, but was obviously more of a real heavyweight.
Those two getting so many belts is nice and all, but more than anything it showed the weakness of the divisions they fought in, where they could get title in multiple weight class despite being undersized.
RDR double champ status is not that impressive when you consider he just had to beat the same guy twice and only successfully defended at one weight class.
More than anything it shows the willingness of ONE to get as many multiple weight class and sport champion so that they can hype up their fighters more. Which worked as people cared a bit about Malykhin because he was a triple champ.

go watch the first fight with Malaykin - after he gets ko'd he is laid on the canvas and they start releasing the gold glitter - so he's being covered in gold glitter while still laid out from the beating he took.

Unintentionally funny mma moment.

Nobody gives a fuck about one fc

Just stop it

We don’t fucking care no matter how much shit you post

How low do you guys think Anatoly could go in weight?
Wasn't he weighing in at 204 with a hydration test? Not familiar with it.
Looked like he could make 200 with no problems. He's 5'11

Is de Ridder really 6'4? Or in reality more like 6'2 1/2

I don't think he got cut. ONE's MMA division is pretty much dead. They let go of a bunch of people.

He won a fight in ONE after those two losses
TS is a moron who cant even read Sherdog
Maybe you need glasses. He won a fight in UAE Warriors not ONE, after he got cut. Not sure who the moron is between us <BC1>

Yeah. There is no one in those upper divisions.

Anatoly can definitely make 205 if he dieted down for it. People trying to phrase it like RDR had to fight Alistair Overeem at openweight or something lol.

And yes, Ridder I think is clearly about 6'4 (or 6'3 in MMA terms). He is tall.

205 Malykhin doesn't look much bigger than Dricus.

its still you, because RDR didnt get released from ONE. he left because the UFC had shown interest in him
also he was a former double champ, so thats why he is promoted as such
i thought fighter bashing threads were against the rules?

I dont think people really understand weight classes. I keep seeing he lost to Anatoly Malykhin who is a heavyweight.

Like...yes, he is the heavyweight champion of ONE (RDR was going to try to do the same thing he did). That doesnt mean Anatoly Malykhin is a natural heavyweight.

Furthermore, if Anatoly Malykhin was a natural heavyweight and beat RDR's ass at MW, that would be even more shameful, not some valid excuse for losing.

If that wasn't true then there wouldn't be a point of weight classes...Anatoly is just better than RDR, it has nothing to do with him being on steroids or being "a heavyweight".
You need to add that we are talking about ONE

ONE's division have no sense at all lol

Take Brandon Vera, for example. At a time he was their "catchweigh" champion lol

On another time Aung La Sang was their "openweight" champion also.

Besides that, there's also that feeling some fighters don't weigh in at all so... all in all... ONE is shady af lol.

Tbf Malykhin can only make those weight classes under one rules. There's absolutely zero chance that dude is ever actually making 185.
