Why Do Men love Blondes?

On second thought, I think strawberry blonde hair is hot as hell.

^ lol that's just red.

where do you get this fecal matter from? the majority of the world has no blonde people. furthermore, when people get REALLY old their hair turns white and or gray, which is closer to blonde than other colors. and when people with very light colored blonde hair get older, it actually gets lighter and lighter in shade, making it almost look transparent, so that completely refutes your already weak premise.

so disgraceful that people just pull this stuff out of their ass and try to pass it off as a universal truth.

http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Human_hair_color

"Many children born with blond hair develop darker hair as they age, with the majority of natural blonds developing a hair color of a dark "gunmetal" hue by the time they reach middle age. Pregnancy hormones hasten this process. Natural blond hair is rare in adulthood, with some reports that only about 2% of the world's population is naturally blond.[4]"

See dude, if you really wanted to learn, you would find what you are looking for almost anywhere on the net, starting with the Wiki page.

I think I originally read the article on LiveScience.com

http://blogs.discovermagazine.com/gnxp/2006/10/genetics-of-hair-color/#.UPmGBieCl8E

"The same reason that European babies are often with blue eyes or dark skinned babies are born with light skin, we get darker as we age (with the partial exception of females during puberty). The darkening of hair is simply a symptom of a general trend toward increased melanin as we age (or as women go through pregnancies). Proximately in an individual

Why are men in general much more attracted to blondes than women to blond men?

i think that it has to do with numbers.

there are fewer blonde women than any other type of hair color for women. you don't come across them often, so when you see one, it's normal to take a second glance.

i'm an american of mexican descent, so when i went to scandinavia for the first time, it was definitely an interesting experience, lol. i'll never forget the bus ride i took in this small town called uddevalla in sweden, where i was literally the only person with black hair, and every other person was either blonde or had extremely light brown hair.

amazing people, by the way. very welcoming folks up there.

Because the blond hair gene is recessive. If you mate with a blond, you have a better chance of some of your genetic traits being predominant in your offspring.
Interesting idea, have any further reading on the subject?
Its all about the media, guys grow up with blonde princesses in their storybooks then when they hit puberty there are hot blondes in every tv show, magazine and music video. Its the same reason alot of girls like the clean cut look on guys.
My favorite Disney princess was Jasmine and I grew up with Scooby Doo.
Judging by the responses thus far, they're not.
To be fair, Sherdog might not be the best place to gauge public opinion.
Blondes are obscenely overrated imo. The darker the better, especially on white women
I strongly disagree, I think lighter hair color looks good almost exclusively on white women. Blacks and Asian look best with dark hair IMO.
Even if that is true, how could the male possibly know that and choose her because of it? How could he know that blonde women have more estrogen? Did he run a lab test? This is why these theories fall apart.
The guy doesn't have to know she has lower estrogen, he's rewarded for choosing blondes regardless of what his reasons are. Over time, the men who prefer blondes pass on their genes more effectively because they're choosing more fit mates.

Its reddish, which is the point.

Blondes just tend to be really hot, where as brunettes are usually sexier looking if that makes any sense, I prefer brunettes.

Yeah, I get it's just a name and strawberry does imply the reddish. And it wasn't a nock on you but on the name. Though I kinda see it. This would be more red/blonde, imo.

Meh, it's probably just me splitting hairs. :icon_lol:

No, I get you. There's light red hair and reddish blonde hair and I guess both fall under strawberry blonde.

Your example is good but I think Nicole Kidman and Amy Adams are hot so I opted to post them.

That's the right mentality! In that same spirit I'm gonna post a celeb crush of mine who is a proper ginger.
