I like blondes, my eyes are always drawn to them. A deep blonde with a touch of gold, not that silly white-blonde you see all over the place now. You've gotta have a pretty face to go with it though.

excellent point. it all depends on how the hair looks on the woman. some have the right skin tone and eye color to look good with lighter colored hair. others look better with darker, and some with a color in-between. same with longer, shorter, or medium lengths.

Tbh my least favorite hair length on a girl is medium or shoulder length. Not that I dislike it, I'm just neutral. I tend to dig hair in either extreme. Very long hair is sexy but short hair can be charming as well.

I've always liked redheads but I married a blonde. She wasn't a total blonde, the hair on her head was blonde but the carpet was light brown.

Wasn't there a study done using pictures of the same women with different colored hair put in random order at 5 second intervals with men rating them? The same women were rated higher with blonde hair and lighter colored hair. Times change and preferences change.

This does actually make sense.

As has been said, I think the eye catching ability of blonde hair can't be overestimated, just like bright coloured clothing or jewelry.

Whether you like blondes or no, you are certainly going to notice one when she walks through the door. Even out of the corner of your eye.

You may then notice she has double chins or missing teeth, but it drew your eye.

The fact that oftentimes the media has pushed the image of "the hot blonde" certainly helps the case, power of suggestion and all that.

Why do people like gold? Gold doesn't have much practical value except in electrical connections, which is a very recent use yet people have been willing to risk their lives to obtain it because some people will pay large sums of money for it. Iron, copper, tin and zinc were much more useful to make tools and weapons but those weapons were used to obtain gold.
