I suspect a large percentage of the shittier tattoos were gotten in fighters' earlier days, when their desire to have body art was far greater than their budget. Not many struggling regional fighters are gonna have the cash to splash on really primo artists.

Stereotyping is actually more low IQ than anything else you mentioned. You must not understand the different types of IQ for you to make such a statement. There is a reason why people call technical fights a chess match and why chess players are considered geniuses. But yes, mma, owning pitbulls, and tattoos obviously affect IQ - you genius you. Depends on the fighter. Volkov's tattoo is really well done.

He covered up his original tattoo which was like some tribal sting ray. But yes his tattoo cover up is high quality. Aspinal just recently got a full back piece, it looks pretty clean quality as well. Just doesn't flow well with his current tattoos tattoos though. He needs to add more on the front to make it flow better even though they are different styles of tattoos and he has colorwork on his back mixed with black and grey realism work on his chest and arms. He needs some filler work and connecting tattoos that blend the different styles together.
