DFW definetly not a fan of Stipe
he's an asshile

Stipe had to get one of his corner men to do it

Stipe didn't allow it, he took the belt from danas hand and opted to let his own coach do it

Stipe isn't a fan of dana's lately and for damn good reason

Clearly, Stipe wanted his guy to do it, and Dana knew that. While Buffer was still getting the words out of his mouth Stipe was extending a hand to take the belt, not offering his mid-section for Dana to do it.

It was clear that was how Stipe wanted it, and Dana knew and cooperated.

Stipe is the man. The UFC really did him dirty with the promotion leading up to this fight. Not only that, but he ragdolled Ngannou. Anyone who tuned into this fight to see Ngannou be the next big thing were left in shock, as if they had been lied too. Stipe left no questions unanswered. He is by FAR the superior fighter, and took every shred of dignity from Ngannou as a fighter.

A lot of you are going full Eddie Bravo on this one.

Stipe made it clear he had an issue with Dana and with rogan in the post fight events

And that's pretty weak. He said himself he doesn't like to do media and all that shit. The promotion was behind Francis, yes, but he also did the hard work. He had all the eyes on him.
Stipe should just say "thank you, alrighty then" for being able to chill a bit during fight week and now that he actually dominated Francis, he got his hype. He beat the "unstoppable Ngannou".
Dude should fucking love this.

I don't get the bitching. This was a win/win for Stipe. Just like it was a win/win for Nunes when she fought Honda but people bitched about the promotion then too. They're in the business of selling PPV's - it's not disrespect.

ummm because dana and co shat on stipe in the lead up to this fight....

At the post fight presser...when asked about the incident.
Stipe - "because thats my guy... he respects me and i respect him. end of story."

respect.

If I were Stipe I would take a full year off. Let Dana and Co struggle to promote another HW PPV.

Relax Dana.

I didn't think it was so much to piss Dana off as much as it was to give his coach the honor to do it.

But maybe Stipe hating Dana did have something to do with it!

Promotion was like Amanda Nunes vs Ronda Rousey, they only hyped the Challenger

Not only is reading comprehension shit on sherdog, now so is viewing comprehension.

If it were me I'd have made Dana put it on just to rub it in a bit, then face him and ask how it looks.

Would be nice to see Dana pull out all the B.S. stops to try to market two "contenders" with a combined age of over 80.
