Colby got greedy with all those title shots and decided to stay inactive instead of continuing to maintain his ability to fight. Colby wasn't many things but his cardio, pace and wrestling were really good at one time. None of those things were present last night. None of those things were present against Leon.

He's won 2 of his last 6 fights with his last win being in 2022.

Colby is a great fighter but maybe we've given him a bit more credit

Colby was never great. He mostly picked his fights, barely fought the past 2 years. He never was never a strong gate keeper like Kos or Fitch during the GSP era. Those guys fought anyone.
