What do you mean "used to"?
As a mixed martial artist, DC achieved way more that I possibly thought he would have. I doubted him nearly every step of the way. I think he fought clean and square, and he was reliable. While the (basically worthless now) double-champ status lives on, DC pulled it off better than the others. Honestly, I don't even hold the crying against him when he came up short in losses. But I believe athletes take losses harder than fighters do, and MMA came as an afterthought to DC, so I kind of get it. I've seen pro ball, hockey, and football players cry my whole life, DC bawling isn't anything crazy or wild.
And because he mostly fought high-level fighters, the guy really should be considered an all-time great.
That being said...
As a person, the dude is an absolute ass-kissing tryhard who NEEDS to be liked and seen as the good guy. I fucking hate his colour-commentary and inserting himself as examples when he's trying to make a point, much like trying to listen to a play-by-play with Joe calling a Diaz fight. Everything about DC just oozes phoniness. If he were shit-canned tomorrow I would be surprised if I even had feelings over it.
