Why did Jake Shields get released by the UFC ?

They could've always renagotiate the terms if they really wanted to keep him like they did with Hendo.

Which time cause Hendo left the first time for a better offer, I'm betting the same happened with Shields.

Is not the most exciting guy and with that in mind, the ufc likely looked at his contract and felt he was not worth the investment they were spending on him.
