Why did Izzy go from antagonistic to friendly to Dricus?

I mean what's he supposed to do ? Cry some more ? Throw a toddler tantrum ? Start a brawl ? Be whopper salty on the internet ? All those options would only make him look like more of a loser. I am sure he would have been intolerable if he won haha but squashing the beef and sharing a good sporting moment was definitely the best option

If he would've won he would've been the same disrespectful weirdo he always is when he wins (humping Costa, arrow celebration vs Pereira and mocking his kids, flipping off Brunson, mocking Vettori for thinking he won the first fight etc).

He's fake humble in defeat to avoid his opponents/fans throwing more gas on the flame, but in victory he's as cruel as can be.

So happy his time as champ is over

the only other fighter i can think off the top of my head with a bipolar behavior is mcgregor,
where he is a good winner but bad loser (opposite of izzy)

Because he got beat.. Izzy seems to need to hate the person he is fighting
 
This is typical Adesanya behaviour.
He deserves the same treatment he gave Costa and nothing less. DDP should have humiliated Adesanya by pretending to dig Adesanya grave and throw his body into it Tito Ortiz style.
 
They went out there, had the chance to beat each other up and got paid for it. DDP won and got the sub.
It's not his first loss and it might not be his last. How else can you settle it, than try and beat the shit out of each other?

The reason why people keep carrying on is because they never actually get that chance.
 
He got humbled and I think he realized he took the beef too far. DDP started it but Izzy took it to a nasty place where it didn't need to go. Add the dog story and Izzy has finally become aware that he's far from universally loved and needs to tone it down.
 
He went from cringy "African brother" rant to (seemingly) sincerely congratulating him on winning the belt, then it became bitter again, then they reconciled again. I dunno if it was manufactured right from the start or this guy is just bipolar

Like DDP always seems chill with his opponents after, even if there was some beef

Izzy on the other hand, I mean after what we saw him do to Costa and Pereira(with the son) I can't imagine what he would of done if he won against DDP there. His post fight presser would definitely have a very different energy to it and wouldn't have as many kind words

He loss and was finished, you best believe if Adeaanya won he would be petty and shit talking to ends. Look how he acted towards Pereira’s son affter he won.
 
Because if it wasn't for the ref stepping in Izzy would have been laid dead on the octagon.
