The one that really confuses me is black guys playing baseball. You mean there's black kids growing up somewhere that are playing baseball and not basketball like so many others?

One reason is better aim with pro fighters. KO's usually come from shots to the chin or temple. Bar brawlers swing for the head in rage, no real aim. The others are already mentioned, takes time to turn from blue to black and the cutmen try to deal with swelling.
