Transformers. Even as a grown man, i'd love to have Sound Wave, Megatron, and Optimus Prime.

I agree, Soundwave is fucking badass. Funny thing about him, though, is that he wasn't even originally a Transformer. From the Wiki:

  • Generation 1 Soundwave (1984)
The original Soundwave toy (and his cassettes) began life as part of Takara's Micro Change line, designed by Satoshi Koizumi, featuring household objects that transformed into accurately-scaled robots. Incorporated into the Transformers toy line by Hasbro, the figure was packaged with Buzzsaw in the US, and with Rumble in Japan (also including a set of non-functional headphones). The tapes could fit into Soundwave's opening chest door (released by a push of his shoulder-mounted "eject" button), while the interaction level was maintained by his two guns, which turned into AA-sized batteries that could store in a compartment in his back. Cassette tapes that could interact with Soundwave were released regularly until 1988.
 
Soundwave was the only one allowed to fire Megatron if I recall correctly. Perhaps Starscream but fuck that guy.
 
the robots were 2 types that were made on cybertron. military units and consumer style units. it wasnt just decepticons = bad military and autobots = good consumer . there was an uprising and they overthrew their creators who made all of them on cybertron as service robots.

He's listed as an Autobot. He has an Autobot symbol on him in the pic I posted, which I believe is original art for him.

Starscream was the best. When I was a kid I used to get a kick out of all the infighting between Megatron and SS. The funniest I remember is when Megatron bant him and SS went to some remote area and found/created Bruticus and showed back up in the middle of a battle and had Bruticus 1 punch ko Devistator (I think it was Devistator) lol

Only for that episode, he's generally an Autobot -you can look that up if you want to.
