Why are so many people saying JMM got robbed?

He clearly didint get robbed,this is why I dont like Him.I think its just plain pacman hating.When I watch fights I give a fair and honest look and rewatch them twice.I think the best way to watch a fight is to turn the volume off(wich lampley yelling around all the time would you blame me ?)this helps you focus on the fight better.I'm not going to break down how I scored evrey round but I will exsplain myself.Pacman was landing harder shots than jmm and hurt him several times.ok too short jmm landed more punches,YES he did but in boxing dont we score round by round? when manny lost rounds it was very 1 sided and you could tell Jmm took them but on a round to round basis compubox numbers cleary favor pac.I have pac winning by 1 point 114-113

People act like this was a horrible dec and it clearly wasent,pac earned it,this wasent a gift.
I gave JMM some of the close rounds. Compubox is a great tool,I dont think you should base a fight on it but it should matchup well with the outcome of a fight.I do know this, pac landed harder and hurt JMM, compubox dosent show JMM out landing pac on a round to round basis,compubox does show JMM landing more shots in the end thou but boxing is scored round by round. In the end JMM has the perfect style to beat pac and pac didint even fight the way he should have,he should have made it more of a war instead of trying to outbox him. JMM had all the tools and style to beat pac and came up short,he and nacho should blame themselves and not the judges(who did a good job)they did a good job becasue the right guy won,JMM fucking lost get over it........... and if you think JMM won then thats cool but this cleary wasent a fucking robbery like most of the boxing world has made it out to be,I think people just plain dont like manny becasue he has beat all of mexico's best fighters and people hate seeing a guy so successfull

i personally had marquez winning by a point but again, i think it was so close and such a good fight that i really don't give a fuck what any scorecards say. Personally, i'm glad it was so close so that maybe we'll get to see a 3rd

Yeah this fight could have gone either way. I like Pac more so I'm glad it went his way but this fight could be seen either way. In no way was this fight like a Tito - Oscar or a Whitaker - Chavez. This is a fight that was razor close.

I think Pac will beat David Diaz in June. Fight Hatton and then be overmatched due to the size difference. After losing to Hatton he will fight Marquez one more time.

I think a move 135 is a bad move,I dont know if pac gets by diaz.Hattons way to big
 
pacman had the abs of a body builder at the weigh in. I think the move upwards is probably necessary.
 
Well i dont think Pac landed as Manny clean punches as Marquez. I think he missed a lot and watched a lot of the flurries in slow motion. I had Marquez winning, I dont think its a robbery per say, but I think he clearly won the fight. Also, if people watched the HBO telecast Manny and Jim were all up on Manny's nuts. Merchant said at the start of the 12th that whoever took the round won the fight, and after JMM clearly won round 12 he said it was a draw. It kind of showed the bias for Manny.
 
Because people seem to have great difficulty in differentiating between a close fight in which a score can go either way depending on your perspective in certain rounds and something like Sugar Ray Leonard vs. Marvin Hagler.

Close fights are close fights. Robberies are when someone that CLEARLY lost a fight is given a decision. The example that immediately springs to mind is Dale Brown vs. O'Neil Bell.

for the people that say JMM won the fight, but it depends on whos judging, i scored pacman winning by 1 at the end

in the end, they would both get ko'd by sean sherk's baby sized hands

One can disagree and be logical.

Marquez landed more, this is no doubt.

But why I KNOW Pacquiao won is where when Pacquiao landed it caused mega damage to Marquez.

That's not including the knockdown. Obviously the judges were scoring damage and not points. Did Marquez hit Pacquiao more? Yes. But did he Damage him more??

NO.

Pacquiao didnt land as many shots, but the shots he landed hurt Marquez more than Marquez shots hurt PacQuiao.

Look at the difference in cuts.

It was a solid decision although the scoring was scewy.
 
GREAT GREAT fight and i though marquez was going to win but damn it was so close that i think it was a good decision..... of course i would like to see marquez defending his title succesfully but well pacman deserves the title!

to me marquez won, although paquiao got the knockdown, marquez was the one the landed more punches and boxed better, he got paquiao rocked in the 2 round and 8 which he nailed a huge liver shot to paquiao. To me Marquez was a clear winner, the only thing the Marquez lack is on being more agressive when he got paquiao hurt and finished him. Overall I think both fighers respect each other too much, Marquez was afraid of paquiao speed and power and paquiao was scared from Marquez boxing and beutifull counters.

Marquez won the fight, no douth, but hey its Las Vegas, and paquiao gets more people than marquez.

you can say it that way, but pacquiao did more damage to marquez than the opposite way around, which is why i got pacquiao winning the fight


it reminds me of the cotto-malinaggi fight, malinaggi got more shots in, but in the end cotto did more damage
 
I was pulling for JMM and it hurt to lose a decision that close, TWICE ... but I can't call it a robbery.

I can't call it a clear decision win for Pac either. That was a great performance by both guys, particularly JMM and the judges favored the other guy again.

JMM boxed very well, got up off the deck again and more than held his own. He could have been the winner just as easily. Nothing to be ashamed of.

Sucks but that's boxing.
