Why Alvarez's UFC run HAS been impressive so far.

Its been decent, but he got his ass kicked by Cerrone.

Melendez gave that fight away by not attacking a hurt Eddie and then doing fuckall till he gassed horribly allowing Eddie to win via doing absolutely anything.

Pettis was a good performance, though a boring one. I enjoyed it very much because I don't like Pettis.

That said, he doesn't deserve a title shot yet.

Alvarez vs RDA makes sense. Diaz just finished the 145 champ but I'd like to see him fight Khabib/Ferguson winner for the shot at Rda/Alvarez winner.

Personaly I'd like to see Rda vs Diaz 2 but it's looking like the UFC wants something else right now. Alvarez is an interesting match up for Rda tho...

Honestly he should be 0-3. He hugged Gil and Pettis and did nothing and terrible judges gave him the wins.

Gil would of destroyed him if hadn't gassed due to the Altitude, and should of won anyways.

Alvarez is a gatekeeper. Gifted a decision against Giblert

Eddie is definitely one of the more underrated fighters. I would love to see if he can win a few more and get a title shot soon.
