Elections Who wins the Stacey Abrams sweepstakes?

What the heck would Stacy Abrams bring to the table? She's a small time state politician that gained prominence for losing a governor election and refusing to accept the results.

Plus she's morbidly obese.

Who is she going to convince to come out and vote that wouldn't already?

I think they lose royally (barring something unsavory). No running mate can save Joe Biden in his current state.

She doesn’t. For some reason, the media is making a big deal. Biden should pick someone who could be seen as ready to be president day 1. VP picks usually are just about not picking a bad choice but his campaign also has to think about 2024 imo cause it seems like he may not run. It’s a tricky situation.

I think one of Biden's big troubles is that he doesn't contrast enough with Trump's personality flaws. Trump is bombastic and mean in how he interacts with the media and others. Biden isn't that different. He shouts at people during townhalls, etc. Trump is a shameless womanizer; Biden is handsy. Trump is incoherent. Biden is worse. Trump is getting very old. Biden doesn't seem to be aging well. A middle of the road voter who is suffering from covfefe-fatigue isn't likely to see Biden as a big improvement imo.

Michelle is the opposite. Nice, decent, clear-minded. Speaks in complete sentences. No personal scandals. If the feeling of the overall intensity and constant friction of the Trump years is wearing on voters, Michelle would be a great change of speed.

You could be right. I wasnt thinking about it as someone who is decent and kind vs the asshole king. Maybe thats would the dnc shoulda tried from the get go. I thought bernie was the answer. The dnc and american people disagreed. I trust my gut and my eyes when it comes to elections and my gut is telling me biden is not going to be able to pull this off.

I was thinking about how people reacted to her husband and figured she would get the same reaponse only worse for being an opininated woman... dont get me wrong that doesnt bug me but as an observation a lotta dudes dont like that.
 
I like Abrams but if biden picks her he should drop out cause there is no way he is picking her over Warren, Harris or even Klobachuar. That's probably why he appeared with her. Just giving her attention to show he takes her seriously but not serious enough to pick her.
 
Michelle for Biden’s VP is the only thing that makes any sense to me for the Dems. That’d be an ace in the hole that would shine an entire different light on Biden’s candidacy, because not one single person in this country actually wants Joe Biden to run it.

He’s fucking terrible. Some viewed him as “assassination insurance” for Obama- as in... you take out Obama, and this fuckwit will be in charge. You really want that ?!

On the flip side, lots of people were very happy with Obama, and will view VP Michelle as Obama’s third term, since Biden will likely not last the distance.

If Michelle is their plan, I’m still not voting for Biden.. but tip of the hat for pulling that off if they win. That’ll be an impressive rattlesnake in the mailbox and it’ll be interesting to see where that takes us.

If Biden goes with this ditchpig Abrams, or any of the other low energy candidates the Dems failed to gather any enthusiasm for as veep, consider that a bye run for Trump.

I've been saying this since day one. Michelle Obama would sway the election in the dems favor. Granted, she has no executive or political experience, but many would consider that to be a plus. Her approval ratings are still very high and she'll target two key demographics, women and POCs

- She kept quiet regarding a historical monument in Georgia, but became loud when wanting to be a national figure.
- Too quick to compromise.
- Has wanted to be president for years, but has not stated what she will do if she became president.
- Looks like she has tried to have a PH level of 7 (neutral) for years. Don' t rock the boat and hopefully your political career will skyrocket.
 
Biden was going to ask her to be his running mate but you know the thing.

Yeah, I was just about to post this. Her record on the state level is totally lacking in substance, and to the extent that she did anything, it was caving in to the Republicans.

Legit LOL @ the Democrats and the media for continuing to prop up these total frauds as the "future" of the party.
