And Tim Sylvia's forearm, Chiek Kongo's neck, Pete Williams' shoulder, and Roberto Travern's elbow. Dude has some violent subs. But Fedor is obviously no slouch either. Actually, looking at both guys at or near their best, their mat work is pretty similar. Great from side control, smooth armbars from bottom, good kimura/Americana/key lock arsenal, etc.

Maldonado might not be a high ranker, but he's dangerous in the pocket. Stipe fought him very smart and didn't engage and broke him down before taking him down and using his GnP for the finish. Maldonado is also a tough, tough sob.

Fedor came in completely wild and got caught flush with a solid counter. He doesn't fight with strategy anymore and he has no Judo or grappling anymore, and his chin is shot. He used to be the LEAST hit fighter in MMA untill he started losing.

Who the fuck knows at this point. Mir hasn't subbed anyone in 7 years and it's been even longer than that for Fedor. The only way I see either getting a sub is if they drop the other guy first. My gut says Fedor but his chin is cracked for good.
