Mir has actually demonstrated better boxing combos than Fedor. Fedor is a one punch or multiple winging shots kinda guy. Mir's boxing vs Nog in their first fight was better than any boxing I've ever seen from Fedor.

Both past their primes but I think Mir is more past his prime and if Fedor wins I don't want to hear threads about how "Fedor is back to reclaim his throne" No. At one point he was the best. Not anymore. I used to be able to bench press 350lbs and squat 600lbs. Those days are long gone.

No he didn't, he did exactly what I said, winged punches albeit very quick ones. If anything, that fight made crop cop's striking look bad seeing as he allowed Fedor to wing the punches, and even allowed Fedor to throw head kicks without being countered.

Probably for money, mostly didn't see the majority of his earnings by then being leeched by Vadim and/or russian mobsters..
Considering he already stated like more than 10 years ago ( and numerous times ) that he doesn't love fighting MMA but does it to provide his family and if he could would love to only do sambo, I don't see any other reason than cheddar, especially after a first retirement...
