Because I love Chael and I’m really worried about him trying to wrestle with Mir for 15 minutes.

Mir is the worst possible opponent for Chael.
 
I'm genuinely surprised how many thinks that Fedor "knocks Mir out" and so forth. Look at his past fights, he's completely shot.

Maldonado might not be a high ranker, but he's dangerous in the pocket. Stipe fought him very smart and didn't engage and broke him down before taking him down and using his GnP for the finish. Maldonado is also a tough, tough sob.

Fedor came in completely wild and got caught flush with a solid counter. He doesn't fight with strategy anymore and he has no Judo or grappling anymore, and his chin is shot. He used to be the LEAST hit fighter in MMA untill he started losing.

I screwed up a was assuming this was in their "pimes" many, many years ago.

Murr probably nukes Fedor today. TBH Maldaoanana beats many people to death.
 
Sadly Fedor left his ground game back in Pride. Personally I believe Mir has a higher chance of subbing Fedor than the other way around at this point. However both guys are pretty much done and will be swinging for the fences instead. Frank Mir is extremely overweight and he hasn't gotten anyone down in years. Fedor just forgot his ground game.

Maldonado is a weird dude, he’s tough as nails and puts a pace on you and pieces you up if you fight his fight, no version of Fedor should have gotten lit up by him though, that’s just a testament of how old and slow Fedor is today he should have never came back he retired on a good note, now it’s sad to see.
 
I don't think it will be a sub. Mir doesn't handle adversity very well in fights, if he gets cracked he will just lay face down and cover up for a stoppage. Fedor doesn't really get caught in arm locks, and he's much quicker on the ground than Mir where Mir is just insanely powerful on the ground. I think one of them punches the other one in the face to end the fight, only ground action is GNP.

Yeah Maldonado is a bit of a puzzle. I used to love his style a few years back. Walking people down and using those killer body shots. People forget how tough he is/was. That said he's shot now too.

Yeah Fedor wouldn't have any problems with Maldonado back in the day. It's crazy how hard he's fallen off. Much harder than other guys. Showed a lot of guts in there though. I mean, like the Bigfoot loss. Fedor will literally die before he quits. It's a bit scary actually. I mean, I feel a bit worried for him.

Anyway, hope he wins obviously but I don't see him returning to any resemblance of form. He needs to change a whole lotta shit to do that, and that just aint happening. Fool me once...

Even you don't believe that. Would be awesome if it happened, though. It would be another meaningful accomplishment, instead of beating this world's Singh Jaideeps.
 
I predict one of them TKO's the other. Most likely Fedor TKO's Mir but wouldn't be shocked if Fedor walked into something as he inevitably comes forward aggressively.
 
I think Mir wins by (t)ko.

I doubt Fedor submits Mir. Mir's more likely to get a submission.

If this fight happened when both in their primes, Fedor would destroy Frank, though.
 
Today Fedor would not even be able to submit Mitrione. It has been many years since he has practiced ground game.
 
Always been a fan of Fedor, but Mir has a better submission game hands down. At this point in their careers, as many have already said, this fight could go either way with a lights-out KO.... as far as a sub happening, I don't see it unless Mir has Fedor rocked hard and slaps on a choke real quick. Fedor subbing Mir? Nah.
