Who showed Mankind how to make a Sword?

You mentioned aeroplanes. Fallen angels who moonlight as aliens showed the Wrights how to do that.

I personally would find much happiness in a subsistence hunter gatherer lifestyle.

Hey whatre ya doing reading the cursed book of enoch anyway? Heretic, its forbidden. Techmology is the domain of daddy not brother Luci. Dont believe everything ya hear folks. Apologies for the altitude.

And not just that, but anything involving metallurgy?

The Book Of Enoch states that rebel Angels showed Mankind things that we should not have been taught. But say you don't believe that then....Who or what showed ancient mankind how to make instruments out of metal for tools and weapons?

From our birth everything we know from a non autonomous biological standpoint is taught to us from someone else; i.e mom, dad, teachers. If ancient humans dwelled in caves, or lived nomadic lifestyles. I think it is unreasonable to assume they got the idea to melt rocks into iron and fashion swords out of thin air.

IMO someone, or something had to show them.

In our present day we're taught how to tie our shoes, drive a car, read, dance, play baseball, operate machinery. You cant get into an airplane and rise to the occasion like in the movies. if someone hasn't taught or trained you how to fly a plane then you will crash. IMO the angelic civilization that proceeded us was so highly technologically advanced that combined with other behavioral norms led to their destruction.

Now I'm not advocating a Uni Bomber philosophy that all technology is evil however....

I do think that a farming or agrarian country/village/populace in harmony with a natural environment like the one described in the garden of Eden is where human beings would find the most peace and fulfillment. I know I feel that way just when I go camping. And the less tech I have around the better the experience.

Any way I said all that just to say that I think any civilization that reaches an advanced level of technology will eventually destroy themselves, or be destroyed.

Thoughts?

Your basic premise that metallurgy is too complex displays a probably intentional lack of imagination IMO.

From fire you have melting of substances, combining of fuels etc. Shit's interesting.

Small incremental steps over possibly hundreds of thousands of years.

That is the simplest, most elegant and demonstrable explanation. In the archaeological record we can see gradual development of method. No step change like you theorise. You're wrong from any angle that relies on evidence. Nice story though.

Necessity is the mother of invention.
Who taught us how to make the wheel?

When We have issues with the current way of things and how they're done we change them.

Rocks and bugs that roll.

We've had stone hand "axes" for a hundred thousand years, and spears and bows for many tens of thousands too.

King tut had two non rusting daggers buried with him, one made from gold, the other meteoric iron, so even the Egyptians where well acquainted with blades.

Possible. I am a Christian. and I believe the bible. that said I believe that there is archaeological evidence and writings of our ancient pass that is purposely suppressed by first. the illuminati, through the Smithsonian.. and second the Catholic Church. for if we really know what was in the Vatican secret library, or archive I bet it would say be something earth shattering.

I personally think god meant for earth to be a natural paradise devoid of the technology that ultimately led to the destruction of the martian civilization, atlantis, and the world before noah's flood.

I know, and agree that ancient man was acquainted with blades. the question is who or what showed us basic metallurgy and black smithing to that would be needed to forge even the most crude of blades? I don't think its reasonable to assume that left to their own development mankind would have know intrinsically to melt rocks and start forging weapons.

for instance I don't need anyone to show me how to run. however I would need some one to show me how to make an axe , or sword imo this type of knowledge does not come natural.

I disagree.

for example say you had ancient man living in a forest or cave and a lightning strike initiated forest fire started. after that fire cleared the land imo it would not have reached temperatures hot enough to melt rock.

So once again how did this information come about? the only explanation is that which Enoch wrote about.

imo if there was no interference in early man's development. we'd be no different than tribes who choose to live primitively like the yanomona Indians or the aborigines of Australia.

We figured it out on our own. /thread

Those things you mention though have little to do with the religion itself. It would be impossible for Atlanteans to believe in Jesus for example by standard logic and what we believe we know of science and history. Perhaps youre correct that the Vatican is hiding the information knowing its release would cause their institution to crumble.

God wants everybody to be self less ,Satan wants everybody to be selfish. I believe our current technology craze lends itself to Satan's philosophy. the end result though is developing hedonistic, me,me, along with advanced weapons technology that we eventually destroy our selves.

For someone who would recommend taking a leap of faith you seem pretty determined to ignore the small steps necessary to observe the simplest explanation.

You gain heat by friction. Through basic experimentation you could develop fire starting methods. The stick and block, using a bow, adding of tinder, all very simple and logical steps.

Not a chance encounter like you imagine but a body of knowledge and exploration.

You don't melt rock immediately, you experiment over thousands of years burning and melting all sorts, observing the changing of state that fire brings, a real magic.

On the tribes thing, that's nonsense. These populations are separated geographically, as such developments in some of not happen in others.

This much is observed ALL THROUGHOUT NATURE!! How can you be ignorant of the effect of geographical separation on evolution? Actually, do you even understand evolution? Sorry I just realised that you probably lack some basic knowledge that's leading you to your conclusions here.

Mutations are near random changes, they can be extremely rare, what is more rare is for them to provide an advantage to the host, when they do and that hosts genes spread a new paradigm is reached. Other members of the species separated by sea etc don't incorporate the mutation through the mating necessary and so populations diverge.

I respect your beliefs and was essentially raised catholic myself. My direct family wasnt but my grandma was devout and paid for all the grandkids to go through catholic school. I did ten years. At first I bit, God is good, God is great, we are companions on the journey. As I got older questions arose, lots of them and since no one could answer for me satisfactorily I had to come up with my own conclusions. They still change as I learn more but an old one is as follows.

It is the belief that I cant understand the motives or thoughts of deities. Even trying is silly and futile because Id only be able to do so through the lens of a very limited and biased (towards humanity) mind. I could go on for days about this but Ill finish with a question. The idea of God taking an active interest in our well being, would that not be the sin of pride, and excessive pride at that?

I TOO GIVE THIS ALOT OF THOUGHT BORDERING ON WHAT I DEFINE AS A FINE LINE OF INQUISITIVENESS ABOUT THE CREATOR, AND ARGUABLE BLASPHEMY.

Why are we here? what's this all about? why doesn't god just snap his fingers and end this madness?...At the end of it all revelation states that the earth will be renovated with fire. The survivors of this Test aka life will return to an agrarian lifestyle I'm assuming without technology, and God himself will walk among us and fellowship with us. I'm guessing similarly to what was described as his relationship with Adam, in genesis.

You want to know how I already know that you're an atheist?

The way your posts smack of "this guy is a Christian, so in my liberal, atheist, mind I'll equate that with he's dim".

it's the same arrogance I use to encounter in the warroom. Look guy I don't need you dumbing shit down for me. I'm confident in assuming that I am far more read on history, the bible, and religious archeological periodicals than you are. BTW Who the hell do you think you are anyway where you think you can post reply to me in such an irreverent, and insolent fashion?

I'm in a good mood so i'll let you slide this time so consider yourself lucky. If I were you (thank god I'm not) I'd actually thank Jesus that I'm not getting after you the way I want to.

Wtf? How can you say "who taught us how to make swords?" and then bring up planes in the same post? It's called innovation. Smh...

I can tell youre a thinker so heres another question to ponder. What entity do you think frowns upon asking questions more, God or the church?

Mankind always finds new and inventive ways to kill each other.
