Who is the WWE GOAT ?

Good ole Double Murder Suicide.

your point is valid one, but Bruno was old school WWWF yeah?

Cena sure you can put him there...but fuck cena

Vince I see more as the demigod
Bruno carried them for a decade after they left the NWA (which was a gamble at the time).
As for Cena...like him or not, he's been on top longer than even Hogan was.

I'm just gonna post the GOAT cuties okay, bc if you're not even cute you aint shit :hmph

You all pay homage to the man.

What do buyrates and ratings have to do with this guys? Is that why you watch? Who entertained you the most? Who got you to watch? Shawn Michaels was an awesome wrestler who was involved in some of the best storylines/matches/feuds/moments in WWE history. If somebody would pick him I can definitely see why.

I've always kind of wondered why pro wrestling discussions devolve into this, when discussions of music, movies, or any other entertainment don't. I mean, yeah popularity and financial success might be a consideration, but it isn't the be all end all. Some wrestling fans would have you believe there's only one or two guys that could even possibly be GOAT, which is ridiculous.

That being said, the correct answer is STONE COLD! STONE COLD! BAH GAWD IT'S STONE COLD!

No idea bro

They are sheep I guess

They are probably the same people who call Kevin owens fat

or daniel bryan a midget

Hogan was involved in 9 straight WM main events.

Like it or not, being able to draw money is a factor in your ability as a pro wrestler. It's basically your job to get over. And even with the WWF hype machine behind him, HBK was never able to truly do that, relative to being a top guy.

Haven't read the whole thread, so I'm sure this has all been discussed...

The greatest overall performer (ring, mic, charisma, etc), to me, is Shawn Michaels. The man could do it all.

If you were to go by popularity/ability to draw, the answer is Stone Cold. He made the company more money than anyone.

If you were to go by who became the biggest/most recognizable star, the answer is 100% The Rock. It was Hulk Hogan until recently, but The Rock is the only wrestler to truly cross over into mainstream superstardom.

Iron Mike Sharpe
Barry Horowitz
Skinner
Reno Riggins
Koko B Ware

This is my goat moment in pro wrestling history. I stopped watching regularly shortly after this. I started watching WWF the day the rock won the wwf championship the first time and between that day and the day this episode of RAW air'd this was the biggest crowd reaction I had ever seen.

I'm sure hardcore fans will bash me for enjoying this.

The mount Rushmore is
Sanmartino
Hogan
Steve Austin
And Cena

If you look at the top guy from each era, in between those era's there was top guys like

Backlund
Bret & Michaels
Rock & Triple H
??? (Cena is not gone yet)

But due to not being THE guy of any era I can't really see them as they GOAT but I know where the argument comes from. Based on all factors
Merchandise
Popularity
Charisma
Ability
longevity
And impact on the business
I say Austin is the greatest in WWE history. One guy who does not fall in as top guy or transition top guy but you can make an argument for is The Undertaker (I'm also bias as he is my fav wrestler)
