Who is the striker with the greatest collection of strikers scalps ?

Dude is absolutely a striker. Have you ever watched him fight? Have you ever seen him initiate a TD?

Where a person starts in the mma career isn't what that person is. Kids get into grappling earlier than striking because it's safer supposedly. Gaethje wrestled through college and absolutely fights 100% standing.

Are you saying GSP isn't a wrestler because he started in kyokushin karate?

Is Mousasi not a striker because he started in judo?

What about Aldo? Aldo might literally have the best defensive boxing ever in the UFC but he started in bjj. So he's a bjj fighter. He's the epitamy of an anti wrestler.

Well Marquardt definitely initiated TDs, often mixing it up with his strikes. He did vs strikers as Te Huna or Anderson himself, but even vs a grappler as Yushin Okami. Also early in his career.

Its just pretty stupid to pretend to draw such a clear line between striker/grapplers specially when talking about well-rounded types as Marquardt.

Marquard was a good reactive striker, with huge KO power and great killer instict, although was pretty limited in the long range and prone to get outpointed there, including by "grapplers" as Okami or even Leites to some extent

He also beat Misaki knocking him down twice. Among others.

This is a shit thread though
Filled with shit, uninformed posts for the most part. X fighter started as a grappler, so they can't be known for striking even if they won most of their fights that way.

Moronic but this is sherdog.
