I would say Adesanya

Sure he had a few lackluster fights (don't forget Anderson Silva also did), and can be socially awkward, but that man is very talented and has put on quite a highlight reel of knockouts. Plus he was a very active champion and took on all challengers, which is something you don't see often from champs in other divisions

Agree with everything you said but Adesanya gets hate not because of a few lackluster fights like u mentioned.
