Thinking about it, I still can't figure out how racism ties into Sherdog liking Fedor and GSP. Even in the Sherdog boxing subform, all of which have heard of the Klitschko's, the brothers are not considered greats despite being white. But you're saying that the only reason GSP and Fedor (two notoriously non-American fighters) are popular on Sherdog is because they're white ... you're inconsistent. If race was the issue, the Klitschko's would be as popular on Sherdog as Fedor and GSP are.
I'd say the difference is obvious; Fedor and GSP are popular not because of race, but because they are among the four best fighters. The Klitschko's, though as white as Fedor and GSP and similarly foreign, are unpopular because they're not among the best boxing HW's. In fact, given your argument for nationalism trumping race (ie your argument against the Klitschko's) you'd have to argue that Jones has a big initial advantage over Fedor, GSP, and Anderson.
And given that Fedor doesn't even speak English, everything else being neutral he should have the smallest following on Sherdog - suggesting the reason he has a good sized following is because he is a great fighter rather than racism.
