Who is better at wrestling, Jones or Khabib?

Prime Jones is the better wrestler, but it's close. I would give Jones the advantage because he out wrestled other dominant high level wrestlers whereas Khabib did so with mostly smaller strikers and was 100% nullified and taken down twice by Tibau. He was also taken down with ease by Trujillo and had a back and forth on the ground, although he obviously went on to annihilate him as the fight played out.

Jones or Khabib better wrestler? Not sure.... More complete martial artist and better overall fighter? Jones all day. He had the ability to mix in kickboxing so much more than Khabib did.

Khabib retired before he could really be tested. Jones passes every test they throw at him. Jones has more defended than khabib has fights. Let that sink in.

It's hard to say that Jon is a better wrestler but I think he is the best at mixing his other tools with his base in wrestling in order to win.

Khabib wrestling is better, and it needed to be, his stand up is trash and if he had to stand up with most guys he would have been knocked out.

Jones does not have that gaping hole in his game.

Cheat? Jones popped enough times it's beyond corruption he's not on a lifetime ban.

Prime jones was an outstanding grappler and was a more dynamic wrestler than Khabib. Jon did things no wrestler use to do including Khabib, his timing was phenomenal and his trips and throws were exceptional. His fight against Bonnar showcased Jon’s wrestling pedigree, absolutely put on a wrestling clinic on bonnar and made it look pretty. Jon was pretty with his wrestling, almost like judo with his timing, footwork, trips, throws, locks, and holds.

Jon was considered a top talent because of his wrestling.

Khabib. Jon is clearly great as well but skill for skill Khabib is unmatched as a grappler in mma. Jon relies a lot on his physicality, which has worked for him but has also led him to struggle against questionable opponents.

Not a knock on Jon. No one compares to Khabib on the ground
