YeaVolk has the better resume, but Khabib would win.

nice deflection that you were indeed wrong.
BTW you cant duck a weight class higher , perhaps dont use your imagination and open your eyes in that Khabib would be small at WW.
Interesting how all you whiny haters wanted him to fight Usman just to teach him a lesson when Usman is huge for his weight class.. but yet you say nothing.
That´s right, and just to annoy you. How about that?!You learned a new word and don't know how to use it.
and you are nowhere from understanding that Islam didnt call out Volkaovski but rather Dana had already organised that the winner of Islam/Oliveira was going tobe fighting Volkanovski. You're sooooo close to understanding that a champion defending against the one below them like Islam and Khabib did rather than challenge the one above themselves gave them an advantage.
Which is why they agreed to that but wouldn't put themselves in the same scenario.
Dominant against who though?IMO Volk is definitely more decorated at this point, but too many ppl forget how dominant Khabib was. I’d take Khabib over Volk head to head at any weight class (LW or above).

Volkanovski's resume is greater, but he does have a loss against Islam, through many think it was a loss that made Volk look better.
Had Khabib challenged Usman and brought the fight to him and ended The fight on top of Usman, smashing him, but lost a 3-2 decidion, would we think more or less of him?
Also do you think Khabib would beat Volk in a fight? If Volk could shut his submission offense down like he did against Islam, good chance he could get the decision. What do you think?
True, but Volkanovski likely would have dominated the vast majority of Khabib's opponents.Dominating in a fight (barring a 1st round KO/sub) is subjective, though I personally think his last 3 fights were pretty dominant against the best the division had to offer (at the time).
The fact that he only lost 2 rounds in his entire 29 fight career is objectively dominant.

Volk easily. Way more well rounded, faced FAR better quality of competition, was on top for a lot longer fighting more consistently, went up in weight, and is still actively fighting/didn't run out leaving unfinished questions. Khabib's career is more myth than substance and no rational person should consider him a true GOAT candidate.
Khabib is the LW GOAT by default but he is not in the top 10 MMA GOAT. His resume is genuinely laughable compared to the other elite
Khabib had six decisions in the UFC against nobodies.Khabib. He stopped guys. Volk plays paddy cake.
No way, keep telling yourself that. How do you really see a Khabib vs Volk fight really going down? The LW champ ties him up, chain wrestles the crap out of Volk and beats him or submits him. Sorry, but that’s the truth.True, but Volkanovski likely would have dominated the vast majority of Khabib's opponents.
The correct answer!Volk isn't on Khabib's level as a fighter even though he has accomplished more as a champion.
That is pure speculation. Makhachev couldn't do it, and he actually has good striking. No way, keep telling yourself that. How do you really see a Khabib vs Volk fight really going down?
