Who hits harder? Ngannou or Foreman

Foreman is considered one of the hardest punchers in boxing. He looks so casual, his punches look so effortless, yet he puts people to sleep with one punch.
Ngannou is more explosive though.
I think Foreman has an advantage in the power department.

In boxing Ngannou wouldn't last 1 minute with Foreman.

44 YO Foreman beats all the boxer of today within 5 rounds combined
I get what you mean but saying the UFC champ who is known for an iron chin and primarily being a striker wouldn't last one minute with George is just stupid. Didn't George fight like 5 random guys back to back in one night in an effort to get hype for a Ali rematch- with a couple lasting more than a minute and one even making a decent fight of it? Either way, he isn't ko'ing Ngannou in a minute lol

Hey, I like Ngannou, I even predicted he'd win the rematch with Stype.
But. Even Stipe made him swing and hit air (first fight), gassing him out in 1 round. Stipe is primarily a wrassler/baseball/football

Ngannou. I just pictured him and Foreman in a street fight. Hard to see Ngannou not knocking someone out in this situation. Just my opinion.
Striking and punches is boxing universe, Ngannou would fall drooling if wanted Striking against Foreman in his prime.

it's like trying to beat Rafael Nadal in tennis.

Obviously George Foreman.
Since George Foreman is being brought up I recently seen this fight between Foreman and Ron Lyle. The punches these men where hitting each other with were mythical.

in sooth Foreman for sure

I’d put my money on Foreman. It’ll be interesting to see what others think.

Ngannou. Foreman hit half a dozen times on anyone with a chin (Michael Moorer was an infamous glass chin).

Gun to my head Ngannou, and not close.

Foreman. C'mon now. Big George's record was 40-0 with 37 whoppin kos when he fought Ali. that's legendary. Ngannou would've gotten ko'd in RD 1 if he had fought a prime Big George in a boxing match and you know this.

You may be right. Boxers know how to roll with the punches better and in my opinion have better chins. At the top you cant lose too many times. Although there are exceptions.

Frazier, Norton and Moorer all had weak chins and they weren't real heavies, they were blown-up light heavies and cruisers. Ngannou KO's them within 2 rounds easy, just as lesser punchers did. Ali and Holyfield were also not real heavyweights but they may have the chins, speed and stamina to hypothetically beat a journeyman-tier boxer like Ngannou by outpointing him.
They were all real heavyweights. Don’t compare the past boxing greats to the UFC Heavyweight weight limit. It is possible to be plenty big without weighing 265 pounds.
Way back when, anything over 175 pounds was a heavyweight. Eventually it went up to 195 I believe when the cruiser weight division arose. But a 6’3” 220 Ken Norton was plenty big. And so was Larry Holmes, Muhammad Ali, Ron Lyle and all the rest.

Tyson Fury will earn 1 billion boxing, why doesn't Francis show that power in boxing?!

he wouldn't be so special with boxing gloves.

Francis chose MMA because he would be destroyed in boxing, if he was good at boxing he would make more money.

Imagine thinking that someone punching you would hurt more than getting hit by a grill.

Ngannou

But they have different styles. Foreman is more the Mark Hunt style, with shorter arms who KO's guys up close without much torso movement. Ngannou is rangy and explosive, like Deontay Wilder.

His coordination is quite poor for a sport with much more paddding
