I actually picked Grant as soon as the bout was announced and I never thought twice.
How do you see the ebb and flow of this fight going? Just curious.

I don't see TJ outwrestling Maynard and while he could outstrike him, I don't think he puts Gray away and when he starts to outbox Maynard, he'll be taken down. It's just a shit matchup for TJ, in my opinion.
Yeah this is pretty much how I see the fight going, although I think Gray overall has the better striking. I think Grant can definitely win, but he's gonna have to land some perfect strikes or take advantage of a scramble to do so.
You will be around following the fight to accept your accolades, wont you? Can we look for the same name?Grant will make Maynard look pedestrian.
Watch for the elbows
Gray has never looked better. This is the best Training Camp he's ever had. His training partners were Josh Thomson, Khabib and he brought in Martin Kampman, among others.Heres the simplest breakdown for ya
Maynard is better, his striking isnt , not by a lot but TJ is sharper, if (and thats not a small if) maynard fights smart and mixes in TD's with his striking he will take a UD, if he spends too much time getting hammered by TJ , allowing him to build confidence and diminishing his own he will most likely lose a 29-28 UD, the first 2 rounds will let you know who won this fight, my money is on maynard because the dude actually only lost once, and TJ has lost to much lesser competition, but TJ's size and development makes me incredibly worried
There is something to be said for an honest post. Good luck to you Sir.
Says the guy who takes offense at people who aren't picking Gray. I guess you're getting crabby because it's way past your bed time. You should get some rest.
Other than defending Gray against an outright lie or mischaracterization, I think you are mistaking my innocuous banter for something more sinister; and it just isn't.I know Gray is your boy, but try not to take what the say so personal.
Besides, tomorrow night Maynard will show why he got his nickname. And if Grant wins, which I don't think he will, it will just be a testament to how good Grant is because we all know for skilled and proven Maynard is.

TJ's pressure style of stand up won't let Gray settle in and if he gets taken down he's got a fantastic butterfly guard he uses to get back to his feet effectively (Hendricks fight), add in Gray's ring rust and I think TJ wins this one.
Sue me.
