Who here had a C64 back in the day?

I totally had this

some fun old games I still think about on here

Mom was a librarian for the local school district and she would bring home an Apple 2e on weekends. Lode Runner time.

Still have one, and it's running fine still. Right alongside Amiga 500+. Commodore had some fantastic machines back in the day.
Amiga was a gaming monster, in my memory at least.

Friend had a C64. I had an Amiga 500. I liked TV Sports Football and Dungeon Master on the Amiga.

Haha, C64 was awesome. Some cool games at the time, but I wouldn't want to spend much time on them now as games have improved so much. You can get all those old computer files online via emulators if you really want. The MIDI music scores were great. Lol @ Ghostbusters. So many cool games for the time: Car Wars, Wasteland, etc. Oh and who can forget the early strip poker games. So racy for a teenage kid in the 80s. Makes me chuckle now.

That's the Bruce Lee video game. I loved that game, but I didn't have a copy so I had to play at my friend's house. I actually have a copy of that on my windows desktop now and I play it every once in awhile.

Yep we had the 64, well my step father did. I remember an early roll play game about an explorer in Africa, you had to type in commands like 'open closet door' etc.
Ghost busters was the shit though

I loved that machine.
First I had the cassette, then the big diskdrive,
then the small white 1541 II.

Boulder Dash is my fav ever.

  1. I had the C64 for about 3 weeks. Got it for Xmas but the cassette drive never worked. Went through another 2 or 3 of them . Commodore had had a bad batch. Worked fine with a friends cassette. Ended up swapping it for a Spectrum 128k I think it was.
