Who here had a C64 back in the day?

nope before my time.
started with N64.
GoldenEye!

I swear, I played that game so much I could play it in my head as I fell asleep.

had a couple of c64's back in the day.
also had the intellivision, and eventually, the GOAT, the NES.

My one uncle had a VIC-20, my other uncle had a C64 and I saved up and bought a C64C so for a short time I was a kid with a better computer than both until my uncle with the C64 bought an Amiga for like $4,000 and for it's time that thing was amazing.

We never had a Commodore 64 in our house. My parents got an Atari 2600 back in 1978 which I barely remember it (I was born in 1984). The first console any of us siblings owned was my older brother Michael who got the NES when it came out in late 85 here in the US (He was 5 and I was only 1). Didn't start playing with the console until I was almost 3 years old in 87. The first console I personally owned was the Sega Genesis my grandparents got me for my birthday.

I still have my Genesis and also have three original NES systems, ROB the Robot (Missing the little spinning discs), the powerglove, the powerpad, and a lot of NES accessories and add ons for that console. I also have the horrible 32x add on for the Genesis which I begged my parents to buy me it. If only I had known just how shallow the library was for it and the price tag I would have never bothered with it.

No. Must have had it at some time.

How about shinobi or Gyruss

Didn't play either of those. I played a lot of Bard's Tale III, Frogger 2, Buck Rogers, Ghostbusters, Forbidden Forest, 2 on 2 Championship Basketball, Sporting New Baseball, the very first Madden, Gunship, Jet, and Ultima V.

Those were my go tos.

Played mostly Atari 2600. Later got a TI-99/4A. Then got NES when it came out.

Yeah,my first system was a 2600. War was so stupid good

Donkey Kong, Mash, Asteroids, that one where the chicken crossed the road. All kickass games. I think hockey was basically 2 stick men on each team with one little pixel for a puck. Remember that one? Hockey’s come a long way, man.

Oh shit! I had that one too. Thanks for the reminder. In high school (92-95) somehow Atari came up and we ended up exchanging games and played on our old systems. Had Atari parties. Good times.
