Aldo controls people with them. Look what he was able to do to Faber, lamas, and in Frankie 1. All top fighters. I don’t recall Barboza being able to control the top guys with them

aldo had more success with his at a higher level for a long time, but that was also because of everything else he does and how good he is as a fighter.


straight up leg kicks, barboza's are technically better and more damaging.

Aldo used them to effectively beat much better competition than Barboza. And he works them into combos better imo. That straight-livershot-outside kick is so gorgeous.

Barbosa just has so much torque and snap to his kicks though.

I love me some ChopKicks it's even in my location thrown right and effectively game changers when you hobble a man. Edson has the more effective Chopkick no tell, no real wind up, that kick should come with a holster.

even sadder that Barboza throws all kinds of good kicks but doesn't know how to capitalize on them afterwards ..
