Who had the worst end to a great career?

When he beat Penn in the 2nd fight,he was having a real hard time til penn gassed. When they asked him about it,he says I kept my cool. I lost the first two rounds,but I had three more left to go.

That always stuck with me, his mental fortitude. It was inspiring.

When he lost to Penn and he said it was a relief to lose the belt because of the pressure that it brough broke my young heart a little though tbh.

That second fight was a testament to his will though for sure.

Yes but he still didnt lose as much as alot of guys listed here have.
No but Fedor was a f*cking demigod for over a decade. Fedor's fall from his throne marked the end of an era in the sport, and frankly it hasn't recovered.
 
Fedor deserves a mention. I remember reading an article in, I believe fighters only magazine, quoting one of Fedor's coaches saying that Fedor's speed was notacibly declining. A couple months later, he gets submitted by Werdum and gets ko'd by Bigfoot half a year after that, and was never the same.
That quote was originally before the Arlovski fight.
