Who does Trump pick as VP?

Trump is losing the black vote but if he was able to somehow get a VP with ties to the Hispanic community and he cleans up his act towards white suburban women he just might have a shot to win the demographics game this November.

The first time I glanced over your username I thought it was Ice That Jew

The perfect minority candidate for Trump.

He's obviously going to have a Celebrity VP Apprentice show. I think it'll come down to Geraldo and Meatloaf.

Or he may just pick himself since he has a very good brain and he's said a lot of things.

My pick is Rep. Jim Jordan of Ohio (which Trump needs to win to become pres.) and a former assistant wrestling coach at the Ohio State University.

Didn't he call Kasich weak or dumb?

no republican has ever gotten half of the hispanic vote. no hispanic that means anything to the hispanic community will want to attach his name to trump because whatever pull that person has in the hispanic community will be instantly gone. a new wall st journal/nbc poll has trump with a 13% approval rating with hispanics and a 79% disapproval. he should just get don king or tito ortiz or whatever reality star friends he has.

Better question is who will take the offer on his short list. I think he's going to have trouble with most of the names you listed. Rubio and Kasich seem like a no, Rick Scott already said he wouldn't and Ernst is newer to DC so I'm unsure what stance she currently would have

He's going to go Latino or evangelical

So Rubio or some god boy from the south.

What about what's his face who was backing him early

This is the point I think people are missing. He needs to pick someone who will accept the offer. You can't go Latino is Rubio, Cruz, or Martinez turn down the offers and I think that is more than likely. We already saw Cruz make a concession speech that sounded like his sights already are on 2020.

It would be interesting if he picked an evangelical cause I think his campaign has actually shown that the party's backbone may no longer be that group. Santorum didn't get over the top with it and Cruz didn't either. Huckabee didn't either in 2008. Trump had too pick either a person that will put people at ease that he is controlling the largest military power or at least a middle of the road candidate to try to really go for the middle and beat Hillary. I don't think any of those ideas seem achievable really and I also think vp picks are very overblown for how they affect an election. They are just brief counter points to what weaknesses they criticize the main candidate for. But he's old so they get a younger face to run with them. But he's inexperienced so they get a establishment vet as vp. It hasn't even proven to help out in the VPs home state .

Actually, I wonder with the south line you said if Cotton would back him. Not sure what he would really bring to the table but he is a hawk and a new face in the senate. It may be the closest thing he could get to a high elected official with some name recognition at this point other than Christie.
