Below is the Posts list of 5 candidates. Trump since he is an outsider would need to pick someone who has been a politician.
5. Marco Rubio. I doubt this, too much beef in the debates and Trump holds grudges over his small hands.
4. John Kasich. Personally I think one of his best two choices, but I doubt Kasich would give up his governor post. Kasich has tons of experience.
3. Joni Ernst. His other best choice. She has tits, which counters Shildawgs.
2. Rick Scott. Worst choice. Dudes company committed Medicare fraud to the tune of Billions of dollars. Shildawgs campaign would make that a talking point. He is pining for the VP spot, hard though. As a resident of Florida, the worst governor of my lifetime. Jeb was the best governor of Florida.
1. Chris Christie. All the dude is missing a ball gag, he is Trumps bitch, not a good choice.

If Trump is smart he will go after Ernst.

I think he permanently lost the Hispanic vote. If he picks Kim K he might be able to pull some of the black vote via Kanye and some transgender vote via Caitlyn.
