My guess would be Ishii or some bigger name Japanese pro wrestler or maybe even a sumo guy with little MMA training, more or less a freak show fight.

Honestly I think this just nothing more than a quick money grab for Fedor before he comes to the UFC. I won't doubt it one bit if he is making a good 1.5-2 million for this fight that will be a joke. It allows him to get some ring work in with little risk of losing. UFC would throw him a top 5 fighter right off the bat. Which honestly might not be the best thing for Fedor.

I want it to be Randy Couture. But I think Bellator would want to do that fight themselves. Or at least with some sort of co-promotion. Maby even on a stacked PPV. So unless Coker announces Bellator is co-promoting the event. It is unlikely. But still possible.

I picked other ... Fedor hardly does what fans expect ... from who he fights to who he fights for.

My next guess would be Kongo.

I thought Couture signed some crazy 18 yr contract before he retired, to prevent that sort of thing.

I couldn't tell if this poll was asking me who I think he will fight or who I want him to fight. For think: I imagine they are going to try to bring in Wandy. They were both such huge stars in Japan and while I'm not terribly interested in that fight, in Japan it will be huge.

Who do I want him to fight: I think on that list I'd be most interested in seeing him fight Sergei Kharitonov.

Make a list of every legitimate, viable heavyweight, light heavyweight, or middleweight that may challenge for a prestigious MMA title in the next 5 years. Fedor's next opponent will not be on that list.

I picked Rourke, but out of that list it's prob Couture. As a copromotion their is still a very slight bit of legitimacy in that fight. As a fedor fan i'd much rather him lose to Randy than Kongo also.
