I think assuncao took the third. Landed more hard shots. Just because you're standing in front of someone against the cage doesn't mean you're winning.
Me and the Sheriff of Sherdog watched this together and found it really easy to score it 29-28 TJ, but as it was ending the 3rd I warned him they were in Brazil, corruption runs rampant there. The Sheriff of Sherdog nodded but thought it would be too much of a "screw job".
Tj round one, Raphael round 2 and round three was very close. I didn't think either fighter ran away with it. Assuncao may have done a bit more damage the third. I can't say for sure but it certainly wasn't a robbery.
